Welcome to Vaasa

Welcome to Vaasa

Welcome to Vaasa! You definitely made a good choice studying in this small, but lovely city, which is offering everything a student’s heart desires. During my stay abroad in Vaasa I definitely felt at home and I enjoyed every moment, except – to be honest – my very first one.

I arrived in the evening after all shops had closed and I got the key to a nearly empty apartment. In the kitchen was no single pot, in the bathroom was not even one toilet paper roll and in my bedroom there was no mattress. You may barely imagine how my first night in Vaasa was and the next day was clocked by visiting all shops in town. At this time, I would have loved someone bringing me a survival kit with all basic necessities for my stay abroad. So, here is the advice: Join StudentSurvival, do something for our ecosystem, reuse the equipment students have left behind and have a stress-free arrival!
